Charity Shops

Charity shops sell second-hand (used) items at very cheap prices: clothes, shoes, bed sheets, etc. They are called this way because the money they get goes to charity organisations, like The Red Cross, Oxfam, Save the Children…

They are usually open from Monday to Friday, and Saturday only in the morning.

The Devon and Cornwall Refugee Support Council has a store where you can find clothes and other items for free. The shop is open only on Friday between 11:00 and 15:00.
