Bank Account

There are many different banks in the UK and each has different ways to open an account. It is better to phone the bank or ask directly what types of bank accounts they offer, before you make a decision.

This is the basic information you will need to open an account in the UK:

- passport and visa (or your ID card if you are from the European Union)

- evidence of UK address (letter confirming your UK address)
