How to apply
NARIC
(National Recognition Information Centre for the United Kingdom) and NRP
(National Reference Point) are part of the same organization - they look at
academic, professional or vocational qualifications.
NARIC is the organization you have to contact if you need help about your
study qualifications and you want them to be recognised in the UK.
NARIC can only accept qualifications that are nationally recognised in your
country, and the course must have been a minimum of 200 hours long.
If you have a professional qualification (for example as a doctor, lawyer,
engineer or teacher) you have to contact the professional body. A professional
body is an organisation related to a specific profession. Professional bodies
have their own systems of recognising qualifications.
If you are a qualified professional, it is possible that you will have to
take some tests or courses, or get some voluntary experience before you can
work in the UK.

NARIC services
If you are a foreign national NARIC can give you a certificate showing what
your qualification is in the UK. You will have to pay for this.
Statement of Comparability - £42.30
This is a letter that explains which UK qualification(s) they consider your
qualification is equal to. You will need to give NARIC an English translation
of your certificates.
If your certificates are in:
Bulgarian
Catalan
Chinese
Danish
French
German
Italian
Norwegian
Spanish
Swedish
Russian
NARIC can translate them for you, but you will have to pay £30.00. NARIC
will not send you the translation of your documents.
If you cannot pay, there are advisers in many organisations who can help you
for free. They have access to NARIC information and can advise you on the
equivalence of your qualifications in the UK. They can also phone NARIC to
get advice for you.
